Jessica Mulcahy and Nancy Kopf will be presenting a workshop entitled “Creative Measurement Tools for Placemaking” at this year’s virtual ArtPlace Summit. In this session, Mulcahy and Kopf will discuss new measurement tools that use creative methods to help organizations document and understand how creative community development programs build community power and shared visions for creating desired community futures. Success Measures at NeighborWorks America, in partnership with Americans for the Arts, has recently completed revising some of its core set of measurement tools to evaluate creative placemaking and placekeeping efforts, building on evaluation tools already widely used across community development programs. Additionally, two new arts/culture-based tools have been developed to examine core issues of equity within arts and community development strategies using creative activities as the measurement approaches.
Mulcahy, Director of Success Measures Philanthropic Evaluation Strategies, and Kopf, Director of Success Measures Evaluation Services will be presenting on October 28, 2020, 3:15 – 4:15 pm.
