This webinar will provide an introduction to the Success Measures Data System (SMDS), our specialized online platform housing more than 250 data collection tools for community development work.  For this webinar, we will highlight the financial capability tools available for adults and youth; demonstrate how to use and customize tools through the newly redesigned SMDS; and provide examples of how organizations are using these tools with clients.
The Success Measures Financial Capability Tools, a comprehensive suite of measurement instruments, can help document the results of your financial capability programs. The tools, created by and for practitioners, cover topics related to the knowledge and skills acquired by clients, including budgeting, saving, managing debt, accessing credit products, and financial decision making.  In addition, many tools focus on measuring the changes in consumers’ financial attitudes, behaviors, and resilience resulting from a broad array of financial capability programs, including financial coaching, financial education, housing, foreclosure mitigation, credit counseling, and asset-building efforts, such as Individual Development Accounts.
