Success Measures developed a theory of change and comprehensive evaluation plan for the Jackson Medical Mall, a nationally recognized healthcare, community service, education, arts and community development center located in a former shopping mall. The foundation also focuses on housing/retail development and food insecurity in adjacent communities. With the support of a national funder, the Success Measures team served as the lead evaluation partner to implement a multi-phase evaluation, including assessing outcomes at the neighborhood, organization and program levels, and helped identify the appropriate partner for an in-depth economic impact analysis of the value of the Jackson Medical Mall and its programs in the city, state and region. The organization is applying its learnings to community strategies and is communicating the value to stakeholders and residents. (2019 – 2023)
