In 2025, Arturo (Art) Garcia Jr. joined Success Measures to direct and lead learning and evaluation consulting, technical assistance services and strategic thinking efforts. Art brings 19 years of experience in research, evaluation and learning with community-based organizations, foundations, intermediaries and other nonprofits.
He previously served as the Interim Co-Director for the Strategic Learning, Research & Evaluation team at the Kresge Foundation, a private national foundation based in Detroit, MI that expands opportunities in American cities through grantmaking and social investing. Art facilitated learning and evaluation at the foundation by developing and refining strategies with program teams and fostering cross-team collaboration.
Prior to working at the Kresge Foundation, Art worked at First 5 Los Angeles, where he collaborated across the organization to lead individual, group and organizational learning and strategy adjustment as the Learning Manager.
He holds a B.A. in Biology and B.S. in Public Health from California State University San Bernardino and a Master of Public Health from the University of California Los Angeles.
